Perfect Brownie

So today while watching Teen Titans we saw a commercial for this great little brownie baking pan. I asked Milo if we should get it and he said "Yeah Dad, and I can make some brownies so you'll feel better." He added " I can make banana, chocolate, bean, potato, and soda."

I'm not exactly sure what a banana, chocolate, bean, potato, and soda brownie would taste like, but I'll let you know when we make them.

"Hey Dad! It's Squidward Testicles!"

Almost Milo... his name is 'Squidward Tentacles'. That's ok though. Sometimes Daddy gets those two things confused as well.

(for those who don't know.. Squidward - standing to the right of Spongebob - is one of the characters from Spongebob Squarepants)

Milo's New Favorite Chair

Milo finally found a way to watch TV in peace. (you may have to double-click the image to see what's under the laundry basket)

All-American Night Out

Irene had to study on the night I happened to get tickets to our local minor league heroes The Round Rock Express. So Daddy bravely led the boys to a night out at the old ball yard. First pitch was at 7:05... but by that time we hadn't even gotten off the freeway and the fuel light was on in the car. We made it in by the start of the second inning.

Getting the boys to behave in public is one thing. Trying to maintain control while waiting in line at the concession stand is something else. However, we survived... and no thanks to the jerk who cut in front of us when Joey wanted to be picked up ;-(

Our dinner selection consisted of a hot dog bun with ketchup and mustard... (once again, the boys ignored the meat) garnished with half a bag of cotton candy and washed down with diet coke and lemonade. We never did make it to the seats... but we made some new friends by talking about Batman & the Joker at the picnic table with some other folks. Daddy wisely jettisoned the other half-bag of cotton candy soon thereafter.

Highlights of the evening included catching an inning from behind the home team's bullpen, seeing a Hooters girl, Joey climbing up the back of the left field foul pole, and Milo's full-volume a cappella rendition of the big number from the Spongebob Squarepants movie "I'm a Goofy Goober!" sung to the tune of Twisted Sister's "I Wanna Rock" during the drive home.

Here are a few pics from the evening... Thanks Liane!

"Look Dad, I'm wearing a sandwich hat!"

Irene and I choose not to eat meat for ethical and health reasons.

Milo and Joey sometimes choose not to eat meat because it's more fun to play with the other foods.

"Joey is weird and he took all my Legos!"

Yeah, Milo pretty much summed up Joey in those 9 words

Milo climbs a tree

Milo jumps and victoriously climbs a tree for the 4th of July. Watch for his expression at the end.
