The following program contains...

Milo has been waking up extra early and wanting to watch cartoons. Frankly, I don't mind because it gives us some time to chat while I'm getting ready for my run.

This morning he woke me up at 4:30am and asked if he could watch the Cartoon Network channel. Sure it was early, but no biggie... I could hear that he had already managed to turn the TV on by himself.

Much to my surprise the program that was airing was one of the infomercials for Girls Gone Wild.

Being the responsible parent I am I quickly changed the channel to cartoons and went back to bed.... and pretty much put the whole ordeal behind me.

HOWEVER... tonight during dinner Milo announced "Dad, this morning I was watching Girls Gone Wild and they were NAKED!"

I guess it left a little more of an impression than I had estimated!

The Birds and the Reams

Milo joined me in a day of work at the office today. Just as I told him it was time to pick up his Legos he said "Oh! I forgot to color!"

He ran over to the copier and said "Dad, I need some paper. This is the machine that makes paper!"

I asked "You think that's where paper comes from?"

He said "Yeah, it makes paper... with letters on it!"

Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright

Well, you'll have to forgive Milo's shyness again. But here are the boys at Cheap Trick during SXSW in Austin on Friday.

To put this in perspective... Daddy was Milo's age when 'Live At Budokan' was recorded. That was 30+ years ago.

Cheap Trick rocked. The boys rocked. And hearing Joey sing along to "I Want You To Want Me" live in the flesh was just about the coolest freakin' thing in the universe ever! And yes, even Milo got excited about it before the night was over.
