Milo's View of the World through Potty Training...
So today Milo came into work with me for awhile. When we left I was a bit rushed trying to pack up everything because Milo keep hitting the elevator buttons like he was pretending they were slot machines and if all 3 sets of elevator doors opened at the same time he would win the jackpot.
When we got to the parking garage I couldn't locate my keys. Not wanting to trek all the way back up to my office for them I frantically started to pat down my pants pockets to find them.
Milo asked "What's the matter Dad? Did you pee?"

The Kids Are Alright
Milo and Joey both have their reputations at school. Yes, Milo has uttered a bad word or two and Joey is... well Joey.
Today when I was picking them up at daycare I walked out onto the playground and I heard a little girl threaten another boy by saying - quote "I'll punch you in the nuts!"
Sometimes it's nice to see that other kids give their parents trouble as well.

Rock & Roll All Nite and Potty Every Day!
This weekend was a big one for us. Mommy and Daddy's anniversary.... Daddy's birthday... and the boys first big music festival. Milo and Joey got to see some great bands on Saturday and take part in Austin's world-renown music scene. They got to see Barbie's boyfriend Dylan's band (Betaplayer) open up Fun Fun Fun Fest and then other great acts like The Sword, Times New Viking, Red Sparrowes, Shonen Knife, Death (from Detroit -not to be confused with the one from Florida), and Melt Banana.
I must admit that Austin is a pretty cool place to raise kids!

Shall We Dance?
Hangin' in the 'hood
It is another beautiful day in Austin. Mommy and Joey are hanging out together, and Mommy had planned to watch the little guy pedal his Big Wheel all over the complex.
But, that was not to be. Why?
Joey's legs are still too short to propel the pedals on the Big Wheel. And, he's not got an understanding of what "steering" is.
So, Mommy had to push Junior around the complex. Good exercise, at least!
