Joey rolled out of bed and hit the floor. I heard a 'thud' and then a quick cry and I ran into his room to make sure the little guy was ok. I picked him up and hugged him while he rested his head on my shoulder.
He only cried for a bit and then he fell back to sleep.
I held Joey for a bit longer and rocked back and forth while he slept in my arms.
I'm sorry you fell out of bed Joey. But I'm glad I got to spend a little extra time with you tonight.

I felt bad for the little guy when he fell out of bed,but I have to say that when dad said he was glad to spend a little extra time with him I said "AHH that is soooo sweet."
