Without Getting Specific
Milo said a bad word today at school.
When Irene told me about it we decided to tell Milo that if he did that again we were going to have to take away his Eminem cd's.

In no uncertain terms
This month we bought our very first piece of property: a condo about 2 miles down the road. There's a lease-back, so we haven't moved in yet. This information has proved to be confusing to both the kids.
On Friday, we needed to drop by the new place and get some mail. In the car, we attempted to vow the kids to acting really good.
Daddy: Milo, can you say you're going to be really good?
Milo: I'm going to be really good!
Daddy: Joey, can you say you're going to be really good?
*pause*
Joey: NO!
(For the record, they were really pretty good!)

Happy Egg Hunt
At school we had the yearly Egg Hunt on Friday. The numbers worked out so each child got ten eggs.
Saturday brought another hunt at the apartment complex. Joey got two eggs and Milo got four. Go team!
Instead of loading up a basket and weaning the kids off sugar, we're using Egg Hunt candy as "motivational tools" with the kids. It seems to be working, but they're totally confused where all this cool candy came from. Maybe we need to work on a good Easter Bunny story for next year. Or, maybe we should just continue eating the candy they "can't," and call it a day.

JC & the Sunshine Band
Joey's new favorite song is "Shake Your Booty" by KC and the Sunshine Band. Before you smirk, please make note of the fact that Milo's favorite album is the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack....
