Milo's Birthday Wish List

So today Milo was talking to Grandma Carol on the phone. Grandma asked Milo what he wanted for his birthday. Milo's response:

"I want a good cat that doesn't fart."

I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried!

How Joey Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Outlet

Just as I was about to go to bed I heard Joey crying in his room. I went in to investigate and found him sitting on his bed holding his fingers. He had a few tears but was doing ok. I asked him what happened and he pointed to an unplugged lamp cord in his room that had been plugged in at bedtime.

So to help Joey feel better, I asked him if when he got shocked if it gave him any super powers. We quickly learned that Joey now has Spiderman web powers and after shooting some webs across his room he made daddy a spider web toupee!

"Dad, do bears potty in the woods?"

Milo asked me this question tonight. Now there's some philosophy from an almost 5 year-old

"Rebel Without Dessert"

Tonight's dinner was met with the usual "I don't want yucky food!" declarations.

Milo picked at a few things. Once he decided he'd had enough.. and in an almost teenage rebellion-like style, he flipped his sunglasses down from the top of his head to the bridge of his nose and announced "I'm outta here.... " in the same way black leather jackets break mothers' hearts.

This video only captured a fraction of the noise Joey was making while attempting to go potty at Texadelphia. The funniest part is at the end when he stops to introduce himself. ;-)

And we wonder why we never got any callbacks after his debut on "Friday Night Lights."
